First DSO attempt (Orion/Andromeda)

My first attempt at DSO so pretty happy with the outcome. Both shot with Canon 7D with 400mm 5.6 on NEQ6. Need to take some faster exposures and try and keep the core a bit more!

Nice captures for first time . Just a hint , for keeping the core more realistic and less burned out do composites by taking short exposures for just the core and then longer exposures to capture the outer parts more then blend for a more realistic look . Your doing good so far .

Great first lights.

A lot of these big bright DSO need several exposures, for cores, and then the rest. Crazy how bright they really are.

I don't mind watermarks, I have found my photos being used without my permission multiple times, some people think anything posted on the internet is fair game for them to use.
