Nice memories.
I'd like to go back to Panama but on a photography trip and not a bird trip.
Learned a lot while there.
Saw with my own eyes thousands of 'refugees' headed up the river to eventually the United States. Interestingly
there were no women or children in the camp we saw in the Darien province....but that's another story for another day.

finally LR will open...I just made a copy, and reset the file...did highlights to -45...and that greenish color stuff showed up...only adjustment made...I have no idea what it is, or why, might just be the way the file was too bright in that area to start with...be glad to send it to you to fiddle with...a lot of you guys are better and more knowledgeable about editing than I am...

So weird. I can’t say I’ve noticed it in my own work before...but will now keep a close eye out for it.

That’s pretty cool how the clouds form a donut and the lighthouse rises up into the center of the hole.

Whilst further testing showed me that the CV40 1.2 was sharp wide open with good technique I quickly realised such a fast aperture manual focus lens wasnt for me with the things I mainly shoot just now i.e. family, so I returned it.

These are all with the FE55 which I am loving even more on the A7RIII compared to the RII for some reason. Not really sure why? Maybe the improved skin tones on the new body?

What would they do without electronics!

The final image after editing of the Sea View Pier...I have a landscape orientation one too...but I like this version more. 3 images used in the blend, a dark frame for the darks to make the mask, an image exposed for the sky, and one for the details and foreground...blended in Lumenzia. I find it to be the easiest to use after trying them all...

The white semi-swirls are really eye catching. Imparting movement but you still have the still water that is clear.
