OK. not my best bird portrait, but the best I have of an Eagle Owl. In fact, the only one I have of an Eagle Owl! Great place for a nest, though.

I'm posting 'em all because I took 6 shots and got 6 keepers :-) I was stumbling over oyster beds with a lens that many reviewers say is soft wide open and soft at the long end. Well I'm sorry, but I must have got an exceptional one! :-) OK, it ain't the Canon 100-400mkll but for a lens that cost me A$400 new, I think I'll keep it :-)
