OK, It isn't OMD but as there is no specific micro four thirds thread and the Pen range shares a lot in common with OMD, this particular camera especially as it has a viewfinder whereas others Pens don't, I'll share here if that's OK? Mods please delete if inappropriate.

I went out for lunch yesterday so just a couple of random shots from my new Pen F before the battery packed in. It's a new battery that came with the camera that I charged up fully but it packed in after about a dozen shots. I was worried that the camera might be faulty but when I got home, I put a new battery in, and it was fine. The one that came with the camera is on charge now so I'll see how that goes next time around, and next time, I'll take a spare!

From what I've seen from the few shots that I've taken, dynamic range is much improved over my OMD's and 100% crops are on a par with, or better than, those I had with the Canon 7D mkll. Noise at iso 800 appears to be less, in fact, almost non-existent on the couple of shots I managed, which is a surprise

I'm posting 'em all because I took 6 shots and got 6 keepers :-) I was stumbling over oyster beds with a lens that many reviewers say is soft wide open and soft at the long end. Well I'm sorry, but I must have got an exceptional one! :-) OK, it ain't the Canon 100-400mkll but for a lens that cost me A$400 new, I think I'll keep it :-)

First outing with my new (to me) E-M5ii, and I'm really enjoying it! The shutter sounds really nice, and I'm really looking forward to trying the video on it. I wasn't thrilled with my E-M1's video quality as well as the lack of 60fps so I hope they improved the quality.

All shot with the 17mm f1.8

Caught this shot today using SAF as I dont trust CAF for birds in flight, I am quite pleased with how the AF turned out.

A rather large bee I was a wee bit too close hence why the point of focus was on the front feelers.

How to make use of old gear lying around from my film days. A cheap, strong, and effective lens hood/protector for my 45mm 1.8 :-)

Step up rings can be had for less than a dollar so a good money saver
