I prefer to use a bug coat made of netting that zips right over your head and a really cool thing called a Thermacell bug repellent. It burns a gas that heats a pad that has a bug repellent in it. It works like nothing Ive seen. It makes a cloud around you that repels bugs very well. of course in a stiff wind nothing works well but I'm never without one now. I tape it to my tripod if Im using one or just throw it on the ground or in a back pocket sort of, it does get hot.

That is a very interesting gadget, Jeff, I will try to invest in one. A lot of the mosquitos here in Crete are the tiger type (striped legs) and when they get a piece of you the itch is terrible for a few days, let alone the potential for injecting you with something nasty.

It is an interesting little gadget. The interesting thing is it does work to knock the little buggers back. Now if there is a stiff wind of course its not very affective.

Very nice. Is it a pine marten? I like all the mustelids, so if you've got more shots, I'd like to see them please - unless they are in another thread?
