I gave up on Canon fully in this last update of my main camera, I already gone to the x100 for a light street camera but reading up now I choice the X-T2.

And I really like it, although I am a bit limited in lenses going from having a few for canon mounts to just the one 18-55. I have no idea where to go next, except I probably want a wider prime as I mostly shoot what is available in a town, so a lot of street and some park landscapes etc (and almost always black and white).

Although I might need togo towards a battery grip as the battery life is the one thing that is a bit annoying.

I too jumped ship though i come from a Sony A6000 setup with the 12mm samyangs, 24mm sony-zeiss and the 60mm sigma art. After a Lot of though, Lust and doing i seng with and X-T2 and the 18-55 planing to get either the 16mm F1,4 og another samyang but it didn't take these much effort to talk me into the 10-24.

The 16mm/1.4 is astoundingly good and versatile. It is big for a Fuji lens (about the same as the 23/1.4 or 56/1.2) but quite reasonable for what it is. Especially reasonable compared to Canon :).

Looking at your Flickr, it would fit well with your work.

The 18/2 is quite light and very handy. But you already have 18 with your 18-55.

There are, of course, wider options including the very nice 10-24/4.

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).

What lenses did you have with Canon and which did you use the most?

Fuji has a much smaller line up then canon does but every one of fuji’s Lenses are very good.

For wide primes you have several options. The 16mm f1.4 is probably on of fuji’s best lenses, the 18mm f2 is a gem of a lens that doesn’t get a ton of love, the 14mm f2.8 is another amazing lens, then you have two 12mm options with the Zeiss 12mm f2.8 and the Rokinon/bower/whatever other name it’s aold under 12mm f2

I have the rokinon/samyang 12mm f/2 in Sony mount and I'm really tempted to get it for my X-T2 too.

Carbs and Coffee car meet. Time to finally test out the 50-140mm documenting cars. I appreciate the versatility but I much prefer the faster fuji primes for better bokeh. The dof isn't as shallow as my Canon w/ 70-200 f/2.8 but the Fuji lens still works relatively well.

Me out shooting on the street (grab from a video) and the shot, you can see how wide the XF10-24 is at 10mm.

Aside from his gigantic hand, that's really not bad as far as distortion being that close.
