A few snaps from a recent trip to Melbourne for the F1, travelled WA and SA extensively a few years ago, time to have a closer look at the hard drive. All of your beautiful pictures really made me miss all of the good times.

Interesting that poppies have recently become associated with ANZAC day. When I was a kid we wore sprigs of rosemary, which grows at Gallipoli Cove, on ANZAC day, while the red poppies, which (as the poem goes) grow at Flanders Fields (in Belgium), were for Remembrance Day in November.

Sand dunes near town of Cervantes in Western Australia. This is a combination of two exposures. First for the dunes not long after the sunset. Second for the starry sky about 30 minutes later.
