Great shots - and definitely a Prairie Warbler.

First one 10 star! Working those blooms for a fantastic portrait.
We had blooms. Snow got most of them BUT dogwood just now happening.....so maybe.

Thank you. That is the only one I have out of thousands of hummingbird shots.

Thank you, Robert!

Now that you mention it, I think this is only one of two shots I've ever taken with a bird and bloom fusion  It's quite the challenge.

Phil good to hear from you and thanks. Hope your last trip equaled success. This bird was shot by hoards of photogs at the Quintana Neotropical Bird Sanctuary on the Texas coast near Freeport. It was maybe a couple feet off the ground on a limb so I'm not sure how it was initially spotted.

Where are you planning to go when you are down here?

We rented a house on stilts that's 5 minutes from Lafitte's Cove. Quintana is on the list. We visited Brazoria last time & came back thru Surfside and didn't know about Quintana until we got home and started seeing all the posts of migrants there.

... so back we go (tomorrow after work), hoping some are still there. :)

We will likely visit the rookery & Anahuac on our way home.
