So this gonna sound completely crazy and potentially stupid. Our downtown area is covered with freeways, and the city looks stunning at night. Got the itch to try and get a shot from the freeway, scoped it out, wandered up the grass next to the onramp with my tripod. There was a concrete barrier at the top for construction that was being done, so I camped out next to the barrier and setup my tripod and took 5 quick shots, attached one below. There were cones for the ramp direction and traffic direction, photoshopped them out. We have another freeway that overlooks most of the city, the outer lane is closed and concrete barricaded, the view is beautiful at night. However, the danger, potential citation (misdemeanor), and any other trouble that might arise has me rethinking this.

LOL, I did, every day for about 5-6 months while driving in to work I have wanted to pull over and take the below shot from the expressway. Finally got a chance. Part of the road is sectioned off for construction but was safe enough to pull over and get some shots. I can't wait to catch this scene again with the full moon in the back, hopefully before they finish with the construction I'll get a chance. :p

So, I snapped another one late last night. 3 lane freeway with one lane barricaded closed, toward the top of the incline, a few orange cones connected the concrete barrier wall. I was on my motorcycle so it made it easy to slip in by the cones, back up and park quickly. Took 2 shots and was happy!

I've always wanted to stop on the Rt 1/9 Pulaski Skyway in NJ to take pictures. but a two lane highway with no shoulder is pretty crazy.

Thanks!
