Been doing a lot of lurking and not much posting to this awesome thread. Reckon I'll contribute some of my paltry work! CC is always welcome.

Just a thought . . . with the bat label so prominent, my eyes were drawn right to it, especially since the label and her eyes are so close in the image. Spin the bat to make the label not visible or at least not easily readable?

Judd, class of 2018 (and his girlfriend). They haven't picked any images out yet so I just edited a couple for practice.

Good advice! I totally missed that! Thanks.

Most difficult shoot to date. He didn't want to be there and Grandma was running the show. These have lightroom editing only.

He didn't too terribly unhappy to be there considering! I would personally like to see the zit(s) on the forehead removed. It would also be nice to see the flash off axis... are you shooting with it in the hotshoe?

bryzf1: I agree with you. I like to soften any scars, birthmarks or anything permanent. I keep them but, soften them up. But pimples or scratches that will go away eventually. . . I "fix". I smooth it out, make them disappear.

I haven't edited either one yet so the zits will all be cleared up once his mom picks out the images she likes. The light was just a bit camera left and about 30 degrees up. It was a 20 inch parabolic I was playing with. Here's a couple edited ones from another shoot, same 20 inch parabolic and a little more direction to it. The cleavage cover up was Mom's idea. The young lady bought the dress off of Amazon and didn't know exactly how it was going to fit.
