I have countless really bad pics that were almost there but this is one I took years ago that I was kicking myself for missing at the time. I was lying on a deck when this Cormorant landed and my camera/lens was at an angle when I took the shot and there was no room at the top to adjust so I just left it.

If only I'd managed to focus on the eye instead of the beak. This was a wild bird and, alas, I didn't get a second chance.
