-= 80D owners unite! Discuss and post photos

Very grey overcast day, went down to the local marsh to see if I could catch a Heron or Eagle and got lucky. Saw three eagles, two adults and a juvenile. One of the adults and the juvenile were doing some mock aerial combat, but too far away for good shots.

Patience paid off though and I got some good shots of one of the adults bring lunch back top the nest. He (she?) was quite proud of the catch, circled the area three times with the kill before heading for the nest.

I've never seen one of these before. Not sure if it is a species I've never seen around here or just a juvenile that will change color later in it's life:
