Wow...wish this thread was more active. I just got a G85...haven't taken any remarkable photos with it yet though.

The G85 is a great camera, capable of very good photos of almost anything, but it doesn’t get much love here. You would find a lot more photos from it at a dedicated micro four thirds site.

Yeah, I might have to find a m4/3 site. I love the idea of the G9. That high-res feature is very appealing, but I bought the G85 mainly due to it's size. We're surprising the kids with a Disney trip in December and I wanted something lightweight and unobtrusive. When we went in 2014, I took my 5D3 and the 40mm pancake. It wasn't awful, but I am very excited to see what the G85 will give me on this trip.

What lens were you using on the reptile?
