Thanks, Doc! Cute is definitely the word. I actually had one perch on my shoulder briefly at one point. Yet, although they're not shy, they could often be infuriatingly unco-operative and I found it hard to get good photos of them.

Well, the article says the word coally became obsolete, and calling was substituted. I think that would apply everywhere.
