7/10, good portrait, but I'm not a fan of cropping off the hair.

DaviSto ... sorry. I got carried away! More info | Got to agree with you on HDR. It pretty much never delivers an appealing image ... for me. David.

Cuttlefish wrote in post #18617221 No additional photo in the reply so..... I am not a fan of HDR images, they never seem real and they look soul-less. Sorry 2/10 ![]() DaviSto wrote in post #18617637 Got to agree with you on HDR. It pretty much never delivers an appealing image ... for me. But, despite a major pull-back recently, there still seems to be a whole lot of people that continue to like this 'look'. Anyway, it's a free country. Enjoy what you like! Haha, fair enough, each to their own! There is a lot of HDR stuff I hate too, but I like my style (obviously). I agree they don't look real - but that's what I like, personally. I'm not going for realism. I appreciate that's what some people want to see though. I always like to hear different people's opinions. If someone hates an image I really like, it makes me think about it which is never a bad thing. https://www.flickr.com/photos/jackhenriques/

I really like this image. It took me a second before I noticed the person walking. The fog and B&W conversion really add to the mystery.

So elegant and at ease, even though she is leaping in the air! The white background is perfect since it doesn't distract from the action. I give this a 10! Aug 08, 2018 22:39 | #10315 I hate to be brutal, but this image doesn't work. The highlights on the vase are way blown out and the blacks in the image overall are too weak. In addition, I think the scene is too busy. Image hosted by forum (926719) © Qbx [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. -- Image Editing OK --

bartc Goldmember More info | Aug 19, 2018 00:46 | #10318 Killer image... love the color tone and u controlled the over exposed windows well... great fashioon/editorial image.. only nitpick i have it id like a tad more room above her head to bring her head closer to the rule of thirds.. its not bad but just seems it needs a tad more above.. could be due to the distortion of the wide angle and having the vertical beams of the windows askew.. maybe some distortion adjustment could solve that Image hosted by forum (928423) © bartc [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW.
