Another recent project that I completed for my client. This is a small hotel located at Fort Sam in SATX called the Foulois House. I think it was established in the early 1900s. It is used by family members of our military when they visit. Sorry for the link. I'll post some of my favorites directly here at another time. I used a combination of Batis 18 for the interiors and FE 16-35 GM for the exteriors. Most of the images are for the architect firm but some will be used by the hotel. The hotel management has their own way of arranging the pillows so that's why there are a few similar shots. Thanks for taking a look. Tricky interiors to shoot since it was dark. I closed all the blinds to eliminate as much color cast from the outside as possible.

Alfredo, the lighting in the interior shots are just perfect!

my bird nerd friend who is an expert says Blue Crane. From South Africa.

Thank you so much!

I found him in the giraffe area in the zoo, looking lost/frustrated like he was trying to escape.

Found out I was the unofficial second shooter at a wedding last weekend after I arrived. How does that keep happening? This setup doesn't miss focus often, but here I didn't really mind.

Thank you! Thank goodness for luminosity masking. I brought my Godox speedlight but didn’t use it. I think it would slow me down too much in the field. It does mean more work in post though without using flash in the field.

I do miss the easy size of the a7r, even if I don't miss the AF.

Revisiting a spot I shot several years ago, I changed up my sunset plans Wednesday night when the first spot wasn't going to pan out...I wrecked the hell out of my foot getting this one...on a piece of debris from this old seawall that I was standing over...just moved too fast...liked the image anyway.

I cant give up the resolution for my landscape work, and find the DR to be better too. My r2 will be around for a while.
