Isnt it the same sensor in the 1r and 7rm2

In the 1r, no, but in the 1r mk2 that you are gassy for, yes.

very excellent video and photos. what a cute baby girl you have.

did you used any gimbal? 60p or 120p? and what lens on the video?

sorry, lots of questions.

I can see he did it handheld no gimbal.

A gimbal would be glass smooth.

I was farting and scratching waiting on a hawk who didn't show so this shot out of boredom. Kinda
fun tracking a bee with the a9 :)

Well, the sacrifice is having lens flexibility...

Mostly true.

Completely handheld, slow motion helps perception of stable video since shake is slowed down. It's a nice hack for video stability. Slower movement and crouched walking helps keep stable.

My gimbal is much smoother, but unfortunately, it's not perfect either, there can be jerkiness at times, especially when panning.

B-roll stuff, like the flower, and cuts like the feet running, I generally shoot 1080p 120fps, the rest of the footage is done with 4K. Some of the clips in crop mode, some in FF, it just depends on the framing needed. B-roll stuff typically cropped in for a tighter shot. Single lens, FE 35 f2.8.

Another recent project that I completed for my client. This is a small hotel located at Fort Sam in SATX called the Foulois House. I think it was established in the early 1900s. It is used by family members of our military when they visit. Sorry for the link. I'll post some of my favorites directly here at another time. I used a combination of Batis 18 for the interiors and FE 16-35 GM for the exteriors. Most of the images are for the architect firm but some will be used by the hotel. The hotel management has their own way of arranging the pillows so that's why there are a few similar shots. Thanks for taking a look. Tricky interiors to shoot since it was dark. I closed all the blinds to eliminate as much color cast from the outside as possible.

Thanks David! The client was happy with the final images. I had to do sky replacements for all the exterior shots since all we had were cloudy skies the day I shot the property. Also, I’m glad I didn’t sell my Batis 18. It’s an excellent lens for architecture photography.

Very cool Charlie. I love how she just went about her business as though you weren't even there...most of the time anyway. :-)

Just picked up a Sony 55 again. I love pairing it with the 28 for a light travel kit. I always regretted selling it and found a great deal over at FM. People complain about Sony prices, but I’ve done very well buying used since the FE line became popular.
