Look up Brooks lodge or Brooks falls in Alaska the bears are everywhere they are so into the salmon they don't pay any attention to the people . You can't have any food on you and you have to go to a bear safety class before you walk around

A visit to Brooks Falls is on my bucket list. I enjoy watching the live webcam every summer.

A funny sidenote to that: Last year, I took some photos in Yellowstone of the cutthroat trout spawning. On average, I would have to wait 5-6 minutes between each jump. It was tedious, but I got a few good shots. At home a couple weeks later, I turned on the Brooks Falls webcam. On average, I'd estimate there were about 3 salmon per second jumping. I got a good chuckle out of that.
