These darn little planes were flying so fast and so close to me that I opted for a higher shutter speed to freeze the plane. The props on these electrically powered models really reved up.

I was also shooting model jet aircraft and could have the shutter speed carried over from those planes...

Makes me miss flying my planes. I cut my BIF teeth on model airplane photos. The small planes, like the small birds, are really fast.

I haven't seen an osprey yet. This past week I have seen the arrival of the first geese, ducks and gulls. Just waiting for a bit more snow to disappear so I can reach my usual viewing spot.
