I have my first Sports Portrait this week... some new lighting gear on the way and the new Godox controller...gonna practice Tuesday night!

so when I ordered the new Godox Transmitter...it was in stock, wake up today and get an email that it is now backordered and won't arrive in time for my shoot...had to order the old one. I guess it won't hurt to have both, one as a backup...

so last week I noticed that the 70-200GM seemed a bit loose in the mount on the a9...noticed it again this weekend shooting baseball. But images were still sharp. Today, went to pick it up, and it seemed really loose, like, this has to affect images sharpness loose...all 4 screws on the lens mount plate were loose, and not just a little loose...loose as in lens was gonna come off soon...really kinda odd, I have never had that happen before.

Anyone ever adapt and shoot with a Canon 500 f4? My journey with Sony has been slow but is getting ready to pick up steam. I attached my wife's A7 to it this morning and except for being slow performed very well.

My first time at Huntington beach pier, and was blessed with flames in the sky. Handheld FE 35 f2.8. Kind of wish I was prepared with a tamron 28-75 or something :-P

oh yeah, and a tripod and a patient wife would have helped, she was asking me to leave right BEFORE the burn, which I suspected might happen.
