I'm assuming that's Taita cemetery? Was there Anzac to pay respects to my grandparents. My grandfather died Anzac day 50 years ago, so we had a little family reunion ...

I'm enjoying the depth of field on that shot, and the B & W treatment.

thanks - it's just down the road a bit, Christ Church, Taita (external link) were we were having a little family reunion of our own. Can't work out relation this little girl would have been to me,
I think she was the MIL's niece.

Hmm- sad to die at 3 years old.

In my grandparents grave is their 3 year old who died of diphtheria (I think), or one of those diseases of that time, in 1936.

While I dislike autumn as it heralds winter, it does give clear skies.

This didn't really turn out how I planned (did I have a proper plan :-) ), but for some obscure reason I like it anyway ... and always fantastic to get the 22 f/2 onto the M5.

Hello guys. Anybody here using the Tamron 16-300 w/ the M5? I encountered a problem with the lens right out of the box.
It focus hunt on both short and long distance subjects(in broad daylight) then the lens decides to do an extreme back-focus
which causes the M5 to lag then hang, and even turning the switch off won't turn it off after 2 minutes.vmad

I saw a case online that requires sending the lens to Tamron. Will return it to the store but I'm afraid I'll get another bad copy.

Just wanna know if anyone uses that lens with or without a problem.

Can't say I have any Tamron lenses, but a quick search for problems came up with a number of "compatability" issues not specifically with M5, but general enough that I'd be concerned that the lens firmware may need updating. (see: https://www.tamron.eu/service/service-news/ (external link) )
was the supplier someone who could check/confirm what your lens firmware is & whether there is an update that could be applied?

16-300mm sounds like an awesome range!
