Ajax is ook niet meer wat 't geweest is :) (Ajax has seen better times :) )

Of PSV is gewoonweg beter. :-)
Een Nederlandse reactie van een Australiër is trouwens redelijk verrassend. Wat een geluksvogel ben jij! Een fantastisch land, prettige mensen en een prima klimaat. Kunnen we ruilen?

Thank you all for your kind words regarding my mom's passing. She was laid to rest with my dad (WW II veteran) at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. I can't think of a better resting place for both of them.

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

Looks like I am joining this crowd of owning this camera. B&H had to good of a deal, so I finally pulled the trigger. Should have it Wednesday and I am leaving for Yellowstone on Saturday. I am not going to have much time to play around with it before I leave. Is their any must do settings I should change? I am coming from a 7D markll. I will setup back button focus first thing.

I would say no. It is very similar to the 7D2, so what works for you on the 7D2 should be the same on the 5D4. A lot of talk about AF customization in this thread, (though less than in the 7D2 thread to be sure!) but for me, other than setting BBF, I really haven't touched the AF settings, and it has worked flawlessly for me for both stationary mammals, and fast flying birds.

I was hoping that was going to be the case. Thanks for taking the time to post.

Most of my shooting is underwater and here is a local quarry we hit when we're not on the bottom of the Great Lakes or in Florida caves on various photo shoots. First image is from yesterday before a class showed up...this is what it looked like topside...second image is where the class spent the majority of their day honing very specialized skills. Have a unique shoot on the bottom of Lake Michigan on Thursday so I should have a few I can share here.

Gotta like Spring migration and the arrival of Warblers in Nova Scotia for some challenging targets. Northern Parula and Black-Throated Blue Warbler.

After much chin scratching I purchased a second 5d4 for my paid work. I also went full tilt geek and got one of those Black Rapid double straps. I felt that shooting weddings is such a responsibility that the smart and right thing to do was duplicate my main camera in case one goes pear shaped or I drop one in the ocean or something.

I decided not to cheap out and get a 5d3 as a second camera or wait until the mirrorless option or go over to the Sony with an adapter. To me the 5d4 is the perfect event camera. The files look so good out of camera I do not have to do much at all to get them to print level. Post processing 5d4 files are a pleasure.

I had a brief relationship with the Nikon d800e. I don't get that camera. The files come out green and skin has too much Magenta. I must be doing something wrong as some of the photographer I greatly admire are Nikon Ambassadors and their photos look incredible.

Anyway.... onward and upward
