Thanks Jeff. I like the snow also, but I am enjoying a break from it. Once the smoke from fire season starts coming in, I’ll be praying for snow again.ߘ

.
I could, but I would never want to. . In fact, I don't think I get enough cold, frost, ice, and snow here where I live, and wouldn't mind living somewhere where they get an extra two or three months of severe winter conditions each year.

The ice melts way too early here each spring for me to do the type of photography I want to do. . And it never seems to start snowing early enough in the fall; in fact, many years the deer ruts are over before the first serious snowfalls start, meaning that I often have to photograph rutting deer in fall conditions instead of winter conditions. . Bummer.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I must admit the deer here make it easy as they congregate in this area for the worst of the winter months. My favourite most rewarding images are sub -30c days and days with heavy snow coming down. Not only for the wildlife becoming more compliant but the challenge of shooting in dreadful technical conditions. I hope I'm practising for a long stay in the arctic some day.

you are both killing me,:-(I see a snow flake and get excited. We do get some here lads ,but it rarely lasts and the brit infrastructure folds completely with that one flake ,which is kinda funny. I'd love to have more chances to make images in the snow, you have no idea how much,ha ha actually from your words above you probably do.

Man I'm glad I left that comment though:-)............... Tom the two buck grooming image is utterly fabulous( wonderful framing Tom ) and Jeff the above is simply the most beautiful portrait,I adore the depth of snow and her up to her belly in it

Completely wonderful lads, equally so,thanks muchly for sharing. Just wonderful for me to get back after a hard day and see the above I think any one can see why you both inspire me so much

Cheers both stunning work
