I'm visiting Montreal for the first time. I was wondering if anyone knows of any spots with lots of neon signs? Also, any suggestions of good spots aside from the usual.

Just figured I would update- I'm back and after hunting around the city, I wasn't able to find much neon. Beautiful laid back city though. I highly recommend a visit if you get the chance to :)

I was born and lived in Montreal. Only seeing this now but you should of went to the lookout on Mont Royal to get shots of the city lights.

Also, the neon signs would of most likely be on St Catherines in the downtown core.

Glad you enjoyed Montreal.

Thank you! I’ll be back for sure. It’s a lovely place. I was only there for a few days. I’m sure I missed a lot.

I'm sure there is a Facebook group for Montreal and they could help you a lot.

I spent a day there last month, on route to friends. Not enough time to explore but I did grab a quick shot of Habitat 67...

Def want to go back again and do some exploring.

Gear Canon 5DIII + Fuji X-T2 + lenses + a plastic widget I found in the camera box.

Wow! What a cool spot and beautiful capture! I need to do a little more research before I head back there for sure. I didn't quite have enough time to since the trip was sort of last minute. Luckily, I'm only about 6 hours away :)

Sadly unless you have days and a guide, finding the spots are hard. The subway system has some amazing architecture and art. The Old Port is another place to visit. McGill University is nice also. Sherbrooke at has lots if old buildings.
