My child #5 is graduating this year, so we are working on a series of Senior portraits. Unlike most of her older siblings, she is very comfortable in front of the camera and had a lot of ideas for her sessions -- which makes it a lot more fun for me! For these first few, she wanted to get some fun ones featuring both her love for theatre and Toby Mac!

5. We wanted to get a bit creative in capturing images that reflect various roles she's had in several plays. We avoided actually dressing her up in costume, but came up with symbols that meant something to her. In this first one, she is wearing the official T that the production company had printed up to represent their play, "Willy Wonka." She played "Mrs. Bucket," Charlie's mother.
6. In this play, Maya was the "Queen of Hearts" in "Alice in Wonderland," featuring another T-shirt. Though I generally oppose it, I thought a bit of spot-coloring actually worked here.
7. Official production T-shirt for "The Importance of Being Earnest." Maya played "Gwendolyn."
8. And, finally, she was "Queen Gertrude" in the production of "Hamlet." (More spot coloring! Again, a rare time I felt it was effective.)
Thanks for looking! It's been a fun start and I'm editing part 2 soon.
