For whatever reason, my last few acquisitions have been quartz:

I liked the mechanicals too until growing tired of the wind and rest orientation to keep them within some accuracy. The Casios are great, no worries about winding and with enough sun they remain charged. Each night they sync up and are reliable. That Mudman is :-) The Rangeman and Mudman are my usual picks.

Her broken watch. That's one aspect I don't have to deal with regarding quartz watches. Every 3-6 years send it in for a rebuild at $250-$350. Hamilton simply swapped the whole movement for $200 some years back when that watch was sent in for servicing.

I'd posted a prior shot but wanted to try some post that I'd seen with a G-O watch on one of the watch forums. I couldn't be as heavy handed though this is much more contrast than my usual.

That Sinn is a beauty

Yup, I like it too, the Sinn U-series watches are some of my favorites.

I have a Rangeman as well, though atomic time sync doesn't work here. :-( At this time, I'm still OK with messing with mechanicals, keeping them wound and on time. I rotate a couple of Breitlings during the week and another on the weekend so the quartz watches rarely get worn.

Couldn't resist it - cheap as chips so I bought one. Will join my BFK as a tidy beater :)

Wasn't until I saw the picture that I realized how dusty my watch was but, I still like the way it came out.

In the process of cleaning up the drive of excess images, had fun processing an older shot.
