My son was born 6 weeks early on April 6, 2018. Yesterday was his due date. I celebrated by taking his "newborn pictures" today. He was born 3 pounds 11 oz and spent 8 days in the NICU. When I brought him home he was 3 pounds 9oz and I was scared of everything. He is now over 6 pounds 7 oz and growing fast. <3

He looks great and the photos of him are absolutely amazing! Great job! I'm loving the soft lighting you've used here. Is it window light or a softbox?

I wished I could've taken such photos when my son was born. I'm making up for it now, though, lol. Your boy looks like he'll be growing healthy! Mine was 6 lb 1 oz when he was born and now 14 months and is as active and healthy as a baby can be.

Awwww, these are darling. Congratulations!

I recently did a photo shoot with a Preemie... he was all of 5 1/2 lbs when I photographed him at 1 month old. :) I love them teensy.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Thanks so much.

For the lighting I use an Einstein strobe with the octodome softbox.

My first son I tried to do his pictures but I couldn’t so I paid someone and from that point on I dove head first into kid and baby photography and have learned so much.

Hey Jensgt, super beautiful images especially if this is your first attempt at baby photography. Keep it going!

Thanks!! I have been doing baby photography for a little while now. I only do it part time so I don't get a ton of babies yet but I've done about 15. I enjoy it. I loved working with my own baby because I felt more comfortable taking my time to get things just how I wanted them.
