Back from South Carolina....was a big dissapointment on the shorebird front...a saw things i wanted to see, flying and without my bird camera. Pretty bummed there and there was hardly ANYTHING on the beach where we stayed. At any rate, i did manage to get some nice shots of semipalmated plovers, which are a new one for me

I have spent an hour going through the Cornell site trying to ID these two...I thought I had them both but then #2 isn't supposed to be located North of San Francisco. Any ideas...I think #1 is a Savannah Sparrow. I thought #2 was a Cactus Wren. Both were seen up in Point Reyes National Seashore.

#1: Only got a few images, it was well hidden, I heard it first, and then got a couple shots off.

#2: Got lots of this one, even a little landing...but can't figure out what it is...

Doug your eagles shots are excellent. Also that's a fantastic vantage point you have of the nest.

thanks. I was on top of a cliff looking down into the tree tops
