I skipped the 1DX and my two cameras are 1D4 AND 1DXii because not having the red squares in the viewfinder really did not work well for me in a lot of lighting situations. I like my active point to show red as it is easy to see in any situation.

LOL It is an absolute pleasure to use so much so the weight becomes a non-issue (if that ever crossed your mind) Once you have had the pleasure of owning a 1D series body you will find it difficult to shoot anything else!

I ended up with wayyyyyyy more files than I'm used to after 2 games of rugby. Definitely found an improvement over my 5d mkiv for shooting sports - AF more responsive and obviously the speed is not even comparable. Only thing I prefer with the 5d mkiv is the ability to crop more when necessary. Here are some samples from this morning.
