The V6 was by Yamaha, I didn't know the little 3.? V8 was also Yamaha??

I just looked, the one I thought was the 'first gen' was actually the 2nd gen - 92-95. Wiki claims the 2nd gen came with an optional auto trans, though I've never seen one before. The 3.4 V8, 3rd gen was auto only. I don't think I've ever seen a 1st gen before. Cool.

Yup. They had quite a cult following honestly. The V8 is a ticking time bomb. If they aren’t welded, the cam sprockets spin and the engine destroys itself.

My 2012 MKS Ecoboost is technically an SHO also. I lowered mine 1.5-2”
