Male and female resplendent quetzals. I just processed these two from last year. Most of these pix of the male are of the whole bird with the incredible tail which are actually covert feathers and NOT tail feathers, but I wanted one that focused on the detail and the beautiful feathering of the head and wings. So I cropped this one.

I've really been enjoying this thread, but it's been a while since I posted a photo. Earlier today I had the first chance this year to try for a few hummingbird shots. I only had a brief time though before the clouds dropped their rain....
