Really enjoyed the Tri-coloured herons when I was in Florida a few weeks ago. I had never seen them before....very nice colours, especially in certain light.

Male and female resplendent quetzals. I just processed these two from last year. Most of these pix of the male are of the whole bird with the incredible tail which are actually covert feathers and NOT tail feathers, but I wanted one that focused on the detail and the beautiful feathering of the head and wings. So I cropped this one.
