So many are constantly in search of the holy grail. Regardless of what system someone is shooting, new hardware from this or that manufacturer and their heads are turned.
"....ooo.....look at that...it does this and that and has all these cool things....it's bigger, better, faster....'...blah, blah, blah.....
For many, this will
never stop. I feel sorry for those that are not and will never be satisfied with their hardware and can therefore concentrate on the great enjoyment that can be had from this hobby.
Yup, lots of us have substantial degrees of GAS. I've been playing fotografer for 19 years (starting with a Canon D30 in 2000), and I can only begin to count the number of camera systems I've had. Seems I'm difficult to satisfy with camera size and handling. In the last few years, I've had Sony models a7R, a99, a7r2, and now an a7R3. But this body has an SmallRig L-bracket...

...so my little finger actually has something (that's NOT a too-bulky-and-heavy battery grip) to grip instead of waving about. Also this time, with the THIRD overall family of lenses*, I think I've got it. We'll see.
Will be in the Palouse starting June 30; we'll see how I feel then.
* this time based on at least a couple Canon TS-E lenses (45 and 24mm) and including a Zeiss Loxia 21 or Batis 18 UWA, a Nokton 40/1.2, and two Sony zooms, the 24-105 walkabout and the 70-200/f4.
