Finally... graced by a Warbler! It's been a dull Spring, migration passed me by completely, so this little Prothonotary Warbler was a sight for sore eyes.

Mr. Martin, beautiful photos here. I love how the bronze/orange coloring around the eye of the female extends to the beak as well. Both are much more cute than the troglodytes we have here in the states :p

Thanks, I much prefer them in their breeding plumage though. This is one from November last year.

Those last two were shot with a "budget" lens most folks wouldn't even consider today - an old Tokina 400 5.6 prime. I never should have let that lens go. LOL

Shoot first and ask questions later.

Thanks, very much appreciated. I went all in on Sony (Still have my 7D mkII) selling my 500 f4 and 5DmkIII and other lenses so shots like this with lighter equip help me not second guess my decision.

This was a test shot taken today using the new fringer smart adapter that just come out ($295.00 from some Chinese guy whos company is called Fringer) .This adaptor is mounted on my fujixt20 and allows me to use the 100-400 . So far It works well in good light with AF being quick and accurate . This was also taken using Fujis new Classic Chrome preset they added to their firmware for their xtrans sensor cameras . Dont need any color adjustments when I use this preset.

Wow...the detail is incredible and it looks so natural ....What lens did you shoot it with on the Sony? Whatever it is it resolves detail exceptionally well. Top shot!
