yeah this setup definitely isn't for everybody..

its big and heavy..

I don't mind it .. I have smaller options for when I want that .. but my f2 primes aren't 1.8 and they don't range from 18-35.. so it will work for me in some cases..

Fuji , especially , since they are promoting Crop camera as there main , should in my opinion give faster zoom options.. the 1.8 zoom options sigma has , gives us a closer if not identical look to 2.8 zooms on full frame

Yes.

This was a brilliant choice by Sigma. The faster lens with nice rendering and the sacrifice of range was a very smart compromise. I saw a short video shot with this pair and it looked quite nice.

Looking forward to what you produce with this and the new zoom ;).

So is this Fringer the Pro version? Where did you buy it?

Plus, a video (18-35 does make an appearance):

Aperture ring that works AND camera controls work. Presumably EXIF, too:

directly from fringer.. pain in the ass too .. because I should have had it since tuesay .. but I woulnt be here for it.. they use dhl.. , but unlike ups , they don't have pick up spots on every other corner .. so I had to reschedule delivery for today .. Friday..

I remember when I was about 10.. I ordered a pair of X-ray glasses.. which I truly believed would be xray..4- 6 weeks delivery is what the order form said.. an order form I had to drop in the mail box.. I waited patiently six weeks... I remember drawing a "rush delivery" on the envelope .. doing my best to make it look like an official stamp.. hoping that it would get it to me in 4 weeks instead of 6

and here I complain because I had to wait an extra few day s for something that came from the other side of the world

I got a couple of Cameras and lenses ...Canon, Sony, Fuji, Pansonic, pentax

Instant gratification.

One of the reasons why I’m an Amazon whore with prime membership lol. I thought I had it good with 2 day shipping, but some areas get same day shipping, like within a few hours of ordering.

I swear every day I’m getting a smiling box in the mail.

Also when I got the X-H1, Adorama offered free overnight shipping.

No matter what I’m ordering and from where, every day I’m checking the tracking number to see where exactly it is.

I feel your pain lol.

If Sigma can make these lenses not sure why Fuji doesn't do some fast glass. I know quite a few folks want smaller, lighter f2.8 stuff, but Fuji should also come out with faster ones also. That 33mm f1.0 for example.

I'd rather have the 16/1,4 and an updated 35/1,4 heck even just the f/2 of the latter. That thing is like taking a 18wheeler to pick up some groceries :D

Shipping is actually quite fast but signature is required. Shipped on May 11th China to Dubai UE to Frankfort GR to Leipzig GR to
Cincinnati Ohio to West Hartford CT delivered to Bristol CT May 14th. Shipped on a Friday received on Monday.

Still playing with the adapter fast lenses good light looking good low light hunts a bit. Sigma 150-600 a washout for me could be just
me Canon 100-400 II good light was great. You must remember before this most adapted lenses were manual focus so this is a big step
forward. Great piece if $300 isn't going to break the bank.

You mean the new versions with faster AF? Fuji needs to improve the hardware in their cameras more than the lenses IMHO. I have done some testing with slowest 56mm f1.2 whit my kids coming at me at f1.4 and it tracked quite good even on old XT1. So to me lenses are fine. BTW - 35mm f1.4 had the best colors of any Fuji. And that hood is quite cool.

Is there some youtube videos comparing different brands of Canon to Fuji adapters? To see which brand works better for AF.

How many AF capable adapters are there and what are the brand names?

Nice image. The post looks good. It does look underexposed. Maybe a bit brighter while keeping the highlights controlled...

Thanks, it was intentional I had a beauty dish as a main and a reverse umbrella Softbox overhead with two black v-flats on both sides of her.
