Do you really have separate lenses for 18m, 20m & 22m focal lengths?

I use to take a lot of photos of local bands in the film days, trying to get back into it now when I get the chance. This is the lead singer from my friend's band called Hyde in Wisconsin playing at one of the casinos.

A very nice angle you captured. I like singer shots where you can see a small space between the mic and the singer's mouth.

The Trongone Band, friends of mine from Richmond Virginia, played at Rooster Walk festival last weekend. Andrew led the band and several collaborators in a tribute to Gregg Allman, who passed away a year ago on this day.

The entire festival was great. The first collaboration between Billy Strings and Marcus King was a highlight. Wood Brothers, JJ Grey, Robert Randolph, TAUK, many more great national and regional bands. It was a good weekend to be a festival photographer.

Did you get any shots of Billy Strings? I once saw him do a back somersault on stage while playing the guitar.

I can believe it. He's such a cool kid. Marcus too, both of them living the dream and loving life. At their age, and with the number of top performers who want to play with them they have very bright futures ahead.

This is my third Billy Strings performance. Here he is at the same festival as above, and another with Marcus King during their collaboration set. Edit: I should mention Billy Failing, banjo player with Billy Strings, another great guy and super musician.

Love #2, yes I agree Billy Strings is one of my favorite up and coming artists that I see out there. I think he will be at High Sierra Music Festival the first week in July.

Can I post a selfie? My wife took this with my A6000 and Sigma 30mm of me (on right with bass) playing with my usual bunch (only half of them this time, usually we are 10 or 11 and personnel vary each time) at a waterfront restaurant in Tequesta, Florida this past Saturday during dinner hour. It was fun. The group is called Nip and Tuck and I play out with them about once a month. We play a wide variety of stuff from alt-country and bluegrass to new ballads to The Who to Bette Midler, Neil Young, Amos Lee, America, even Grand Funk, The Fray and are all over the place. I get to learn all sorts of new tunes every month, most of which I have never heard before! Yes, it was warm, muggy and breezy.
