I agree. I would save and buy the A6500 instead.

the advantage of the RX is the size...and built in lens.

It's an odd camera. Specs are great, but how many people really need 24fps and a9 caliber AF in a p&s? O

I'd like to see sony do more larger sensor, fast glass p&s cameras. Ricoh GR type stuff

Lol. Sony gave us 4 iterations of the RX100 before they gave us a native 135

fortunately, the sigma 135A is a viable option, but that 35f2 AF.......... THAT's low hanging fruit!

200mm f2.8/f2 would be nice, preferably lightweight 2.8 would be lovely

SAR says a batis 40 f2 is OTW. I'd be game for that

LOL...they are trying to corner every market out there...I bought my wife a nice advanced P&S a couple years ago...she never uses it and lost the battery charger...so I am not sure who they are targeting with that model line...

I have my 135L, and when I need it, it does fine on the a9, and ok on the r2...a 200 f2.8 would be pretty slick, but it would be $3k....LOL...

on the fence about that, I suppose it could work. I dont want to lose that 5mm, and i'de have to try it for a while to feel it out again. Did have the 40 pancake by canon, but preferred their 35 f2 more simply because of focal length.

on a related note, I'm really happy that samyang is coming out with the 24 f2.8 pancake'ish lens. I'm a sucker for small lenses ;-)a

I'm loving the IQ of the SY 35 f1.4, but already having instant regret due to size :-P

I’m in!!!!!! Man, hope this is correct. I was wanting a 35 but could live with an AF 40. The cv40 seemed like a perfect one lens option but I need AF

I wish I knew, otherwise it behaves like a native lens on the R3 and R2.

I've put through thousands of frames by now, not a single hiccup, does video well too. At close distances, the focus is slower, but not much to worry about. But that weight though :-P

it's a hefty lens, and I really want a 35mm smaller than the 85mm, preferably the size of the 50mm or smaller..... like pancake :-D
