One out of every twenty for me, most times I'm not that lucky. Perfect weather at a beautiful new birding spot I just found. Best day I've had in a long time

This is an osprey in it's natural habitat, image has been cropped from original to afford a better composition. But yeah, A friend and I were able to get close to this osprey.

The reality of the situation hasn't hit me yet, but I'm told it's life changing that first time your little crying bundle is handed to you. Come July 3, I'm certain I'll be shelving the 500 II + birds in favor of my 24-70 for a while
