Thanks for putting that out there...I will have to check mine when I get home...not sure if they are v3 or v4...hard to know if the little chord is thin or thick! they all look thin to me.

There’s a diagram on that link which shows the differences. Mine were v3 which were angled with logo on both faces

yeah, I saw that...I just can't remember if mine has the logo on both sides...will check though...but truth be told, I hate the straps I bought...they are miserable uncomfortable...I really should just take the things off.

PEAK DESIGN ANCHOR LOOP USERS -

There’s been an issue identified on the V3 loops and PD are offering a free upgrade to V4 if affected. Follow the link below and it helps you identify if you are affected. My replacements are now on the way.

Thanks for sharing Eddie. I have some V3 loops. The thinner cords always kinda freaked me out, but I assumed they were OK because PD has been pretty reliable so far.

I JUST got some peak products due to the ebay sale, this is a bit concerning, hope the capture clips are solid. Giving their holster a try since I just got the sling 5L...

I've got accessory GAS :p

I have the v3 capture clip and love it. I use their loops on my cameras too. I wouldn’t worry too much about them. They said on the site they had sold over a million of them and 7 broke. You don’t know how these 7 people were treating them though. The fact they have designed a better model again in the v4 puts my mind totally at ease

My Capture Clip V3 has held up very well so far, and I really enjoy using it. I still have and been using the Dual Spider Holster system (back from Canon days), but now I strictly resort to the CC. To me, it is much easier to use with much less bulk. Also have the 5L sling and I love that little bag too.

I couldn't pass ebay's 20% sale either, so I got myself an Apple Watch. :p

I have some really old capture clips that have held up the past couple of years. Really solid.

Anchor links have been really solid too. Just need to inspect them to make sure they haven't started fraying. There's a color coding system in the cords, so you can see how worn they are (red when its frayed to the thinnest point). I usually swap em out at the first sign of wear. They're really affordable.

I got a bunch of capture stuff, the pro pad v2? after I figured out that I could only use the coupon once, I had to get help buying an iphone 8 :p I should have got another gimbal for the phone, but ugh oh well.

I really wanted the tamron 28-75, but of course there's only way overpriced ones on ebay, bad timing. A drone would have been nice too :-P

Cleared up my backlog and finally getting around to finishing these Disney photos.

I've expressed my disenchantment with the 50L before, but I'm finding that I'm pretty consistently unimpressed with this lens as I used it a lot on the trip.

It was an old favorite of mine in the Canon days and I never stopped lusting for it... I have to say that old sentiments of things we liked in the past don't necessarily translate to acceptable quality now

Mike, I’ve thought about doing that myself. It’s easy to fall into the trap of comparing your work to others and then slowly tweaking your editing to match what you see as popular on that platform. I’ll stay the course and post regardless of what other people find popular or trendy. I still find some inspiration from those I follow although images are starting to look the same, especially landscapes. Good call on your part.

Haha! Or hold up a torch into the Milky Way or have feet dangling off a building. Or teal and orange an image to death.

There's a lot of garbage content on instagram, but a lot of good content and legitimately good photographers on there too.

The thing about IG is that the experience molds itself around how you engage...so its sort of garbage in, garbage out...quality in, quality out. So if you engage haphazardly to try to maximize likes, you'll end up following and engaging in a lot of garbage accounts...and your feed and experience is cluttered with garbage. I used to follow-back everyone who followed me, and doing that led to me getting littered with garbage content and spam.

Once I culled the accounts I follow and became more selective in who I engage with, I found that the experience is now more centered around quality content....with a touch of Disney magic (I get tagged a lot by that cosplay company I shoot for lol)

This is one from my archives that I recently found. It was one of my initial shots with the Loxia 21 I believe. Long exposure with the SR app. I believe that blue streak in the sky is the light from the building reflecting off some clouds.
