I keep telling myself to send some film off to the FIND lab to have them scan it. I just haven't gotten around to it though. I will send my next color roll off to them to give them a try.

Definitely give them a shot! You can have them scan your roll on both scanners which I highly recommend doing to figure out which one you prefer.

One of the things I find fun about shooting film is not know exactly what I'm going to get. I was having a hard time focusing on my friend's eyes so It took me a little longer than usual. Right as I pressed the shutter button, he began to say something. At that very moment the clouds broke from in front of the sun and my garage began to fill up with sunlight which added the shadow from the top of the garage door. When it came time to dry the film, I accidentally dropped it on the floor and ended up with a ton of dust sticking to the negative.

That's interesting to know. Thanks for sharing the info.
I will keep that in mind for similar future questions.

Hopefully that scanner issue can be fixed soon either way.
