From last week's field trip. The Red-headed Woodpecker is a rarity in our neck of the woods, but an area with cattle-grazed woodlots, about an hour's drive west, provides the savanna-type habitat they prefer. And so we went hunting for them and found them.

That shadow on the RHW’s face knocked that shot down from a perfect 10 to a 9.95.;-)a :lol:
As for that pose in #2, wweeelllll-did you say something about his mother? :p
