Sorry to hear about both of your losses... One of my dogs, Skye was a large reason I got into photography back when I was 16 and she was a huge practice subject for me and how i learned how to do a lot, Every lens i got i used to test out by taking photos of her and stuff... She got very old and sickly and eventually passed 3 years ago.. We had her for 14 out of her 17 years of life.

Took the family a year to get past that, Then we got Luna our Cardigan Welsh Corgi, and just Saturday we got her a little brother named Ravi(Another Cardigan from the same breeder):
