Truth is its from a shoot I did with a fox quite some time ago. she was a kit from the year before and like her sister did not wish to leave the parents behind. On one very blustery snow day she was bit on the nose just before day break and I found her running down the road several miles away.. in a state of panic. she was bleeding quite a bit and of course pushed from the surroundings she was accustomed to. It was very traumatic for her....and she was looking for some kind of comfort but only a ding dong would pet a wild animal lol. I do get it a lot. but then I always get the good stuff up close. I've been getting that for years.
Over the years I've had shoots with animals and only post one or two images out of Thousands. I know peps around here must get bored to tears. I know some remember and some have forgotten but I still have thousands of images like this... The only real question is Delete or post.... That is the question ??..... Unfortunately sometimes I post

There was only one fox on this planet I let touch me. I posted her else wear in these pages, don't like getting bit;-)a

This one I did nothing to in post processing....

With stories or with out Charles loll... I literally have thousands. I've had guys ask how I get so many images per shoot. Its a conversation I would love to have sometime. For me its easy.

From a distance can be a very interesting shot as well..

That's one heck of a starting point!
One of the advantages of getting used to shooting in Manual.

Ya so true Michael... being forced to shoot in auto for the last half year with the wheel problem has degraded my images by quite a bit. Its not often you can set and shoot wild life without constant change in settings. Manual is my preferred shooing method. Ive never met the camera that can evaluate the seen like the human brain.
