It's a constant back and forth between the metabones and mc11 I terms of what works better. Sigma and metabones are constantly refining things via firmware. I think as of right now mc11 is best with sigma glass and metabones green mode is better with everything else.

True, I should have included “at the moment” to my previous statement since it’s an ever-changing thing with firmware updates. I have the MB V, but I’ve been tempted to pick up the MC-11 just to try it out since it’s so cheap these days. I’d love to get a little better performance out of my 300 2.8 IS on the A7III.

Carbs and Coffee on Father's day was an incredible turn out.

The Sony with MC-11 did relatively well. High backlight my A7iii was a bit frustrating at times but overall it did an adequate job in AF. I was quite pleased with my results.

Excellent image.

That lens never fails to please my eyes with its rendering. Super sharp in focus and lovely smooth blurring out of focus.

24-105mm sure seems like an excellent travel zoom. Love the composition in your photo.

So today i took photo's at my friend's car gathering. The car turnout had cars virtually from every make!! I brought my fuji X-t2 with 10-24mm and 50-140mm as my "go to" kit. I concentrated on the A7iii as I'm wanting more and more practice with Sony RAW files.

I'll have to admit the Fuji files AWB in dynamic situations of outdoor photography is without a doubt better than Sony. I shot from under the bright sun to under evergreen trees and the Fuji files was literally effortless. Actually Fuji is a bit easier than my Canon system. I'll have to say I love using my A7iii but the greens and reds required more attention. I really found editing Sony in different light situations really take substantial amount of effort over my Canon and Fuji for this type of photography.

Show cars to weekend warriors and even cool daily driver cars. My style of automotive photography sometimes requires quick editing and website uploads. Today I was in shock how much white balance tweaking was required with Sony today.

Any suggestions??? I think it's the nature of the beast.

24 days in the Canadian maritimes, some of the darkest skies of the east and I got one night with no Moon or cloud :( and it was when we were almost back home.
And I've settled finally on a Milky Way lens. The Batis frustrated me with focus, the Laowa 15/2 is great for daytime landscaping but coma ridden
at night, the Rokinon e-mount's infinity mark on my copy was an inch from anything close to infinity....so hello to the Sony 12-24. Why not? It's already in my bag and I just don't get that many Milky Way opportunities.

Of note, thanks to the skytracker thing (can't remember its real name) 71 second exposure, F4 and ISO 4000. Oh, check out my foreground objects! How ridiculous, a sign and a road! me thinking of how many lighthouses I saw in NL that could have been.
