Just got Platinum in this. Enjoyable game. Recommend you go in blind and dont look up anything.

So good news! Will have my A7III Thursday after calling and talking to Crutchfield...

I had to switch over to one of the kits, they could not give me any time frame on body only and said they are getting more kits than body only for some reason, They had ONE kit left when i talked to them and i said please just do it

Even going to Best Buy/BH/Adorama they're all looking the same, Body only seems to be a pain to get..I was actually very close to cancelling at Crutchfield and ordering a kit from Best Buy because at least they were giving a date.

Im kinda wanting to flip the 28-70 immediately, but im also debating on if i should hold onto it for now, I dont have the money for the options id prefer (either the 24-70 Zeiss used at a good price or the 24-105 G) and its not really worth a ton of cash.. The A7III has had a ripple effect in the market as far as ive seen with used gear drying up quick and selling at higher than usual pricing.

Im thinking coming from the lenses ive shot for years (L-series or L-class stuff) im not going to like the 28-70

The kit lens only cost you 200, it's not going down much past that, might as well give it a try.

Your entering full frame, lenses behave differently, even the kit lens.

More accurately re-entering, Since i started off shooting film ;) So I DID have a few 28-80/70/whatever kit lenses like...14 years ago when i started off. I think the 24-105 f/4L IS was the first really expensive lens i picked up and at the time, a reason i ditched what little Nikon gear i had and came to Canon

I finally finished editing the set from the North Alamo Building. In case anyone is interested, here is the final set which I will deliver to the client tomorrow. You can ignore the exteriors since I'm not done with getting all the required shots yet.

Best viewed full screen. Don't use the slideshow feature since that seems to compress the images during playback. Best option is to click on the first image and then click on the two arrows next to the X on the top right.

My favorites are the bathtub shot and the one of the big room with nothing in it so I could focus on the gorgeous floor and the scarified walls. I was thinking how nice it would be to work there then where I am right now :)

Beautiful work Alfredo!! I have a minor and minimal quibble here and there about the framing and furniture placement in a few images (mainly conf rooms), but I can imagine how much work capturing all those images must have been. Most impressive. It is a lot of great well-processed captures and they all look fantastic. :)

Did you use the 16-35mm for all the shots? Just curious.

I can already imagine Gene protesting the perfectly corrected verticals on the last exterior shot...and in this instance I might just agree with him. I’d be tempted to experiment allowing a less than a 100% correction - like maybe a 75-85% correction - only because my eye is fooled into thinking the the perspective has gone full-Willie Wonka backwards. It’s purely an optical illusion (for my eyes) and you did the industry standard professionally correct thing of correcting the verticals, so I’m not offering any constructive criticism...just thinking out loud in public. :p

Again, wonderful work. Hope your client love the images of their interesting (I mostly quite like it) interior design work.
