I am definitely interested. F4 rendering is appealing. I'll be waiting to see some reviews and more samples.

bokeh looks great considering those backgrounds, looks like a great lens, but I'm not sure I'll give up the versatility of the 24-240. Samples do look very nice.

This lens has been on backorder everywhere. I've been waiting for about a week and a half now.

Update: Decided to go with Tamron 28-75.

I walked in to my local camera store today to ask about this lens and he was telling me how it's been nearly impossible to get one, and as I was trying the 24-240 they had a shipment come in with 1 24-105 he was surprised they even got one lol

I found one at Kenmore Camera in Kenmore, WA, last week on ePay...same price as B&H...$1298 delivered. Bought it Thursday, they Priority Mailed it Friday, and I received it Monday. It's been damned hot in the desert, and yes, I know it's summer!...but I got a few shots today. Here's what may be the best. Shot almost straight into the sun, JPG for these throwaways. Leveled and sharpened, added a little Saturation. So far I'm pleased. It seems to fit well with my 7R3 and SmallRig L-bracket.

Don't believe the haters, this is an excellent all around lens.

Brilliant little lens, it's on my camera 95% of the time. I use it for portraits, sports, wildlife, street - a great all-rounder.

I've had a lot of other photographers tell me I should get a prime instead. I own all the primes from 24 to 135 and sure they have their uses, but as a general walk-about lens this one can't be beat.
