Fort the past four years when we go to the beach, I have taken a picture of my daughter in this spot...it started on the first trip there, and the first image was shot with a Mamiya RB67 120 Film Camera. And each year, I have tried to make edit the photo in a way that resembled the old film image...this is the one from this year, she is 7 now...

I'd posted Eagle Cliff Falls via the Laowa, here via the Sony 35ZA. Almost a completely different
water fall :)

I'd like to think I'd live to see a 30 year collage of shots Travis :)
Oh, had to do a double take on the shadow tattoo on her right ankle-calf.

Believe it or not...when she was looking at the images with me...she liked this frame, because of those shadows looking like tattoos on her leg...

Killing time, still going through Gannet shots.
Do you all see people on Flickr who will post 1 million shots of the same bierd but in slightly different wing positions?
I try to avoid that, like what is the point. Anyway between 3 cameras I have a lifetime supply of Gannets but I'll not
wear out my Flickr page nor this thread with them. Now for a bowl of crow/gannet to eat my words.

:-P

at least I'll be able to shoot what I want by then.... and I've been dipping my toes into a lot of video and timelapses, still feeling out the process, hopefully will be able to post something meaningful one day....

with sony, best not use autoiso with flash.

you dont want the lowest ISO either, you often want to capture ambient. Often indoors, you can set it and forget it @ ISO 800, or you can meter 1-2 stops under and lock it in manual mode. Outdoors is fine to use autoiso in good light. Generally works fine when filling

ahh ok.ill try that next music event, so when u say capture some ambbient i know the sony has a setting where the flash compensation will adjust for flash only or flash/ambient, what ever it defaults to i was told to change it, i was getting some weird thngs in ttl mode with it in default,do u want this to ambient/flash or just the flash. thanx for the reply

Good morning from the backyard-
p.s. I know most full-framer's are adverse to using crop lenses. Not me :)

Tamron 28-75mm is en route from Procam.
Curious how it stands against the stellar FE24-105.
Here's another from the crop mode Sigma 16mm F1.4
I'm so glad I'm not FF encumbered.
