Thanks, appreciate the comment. I should have stopped down on the first shot to get his beak in focus. Shooting wide open has become a nasty, hard to break, habit.

Your absolutely right... I use to shoot at f8 most of the time back five or six years ago for just that reason, I hated the blur here and there in an image... somthing happened along the way and I wanted the back ground more. Working on a 27 inch or bigger screen makes the blur even more in your face.


This little guy is standing on the post for the feeder... something big black and scary came along and ripped it down.
