The adjustments I made turned out like this Vinz. In ACR, i used the eyedropper tool and clicked on a grain of rice on the left for my white balance, lowered the highlights to preserve the colors in the wasabi, increased vibrance a bit and set the white point. Back in PS, I boosted the yellows a little.

Thank you Gene. looks good to me. i practice because a local Japanese restaurant wanted to try me. I showed those to them and now we agreed I'll come to their place to try out one of their food with their plates and all.

If you have a new toy, product shooting it is.

#audiorecorder #genelewislighting

my front lighting is the Godox V860II Speedlight on-camera(pointing the ceiling with built-in reflector out) and used as a master.

I just got Explore on Flickr with these 2 images of this set :)

pretty wild to get two in one day...good for you! My last one that made it was way off schedule, it was kinda odd...it was also one of the late day adds, like 8PM...and it went in at #4...

I only got up for one sunrise while on Vacation to Florida a couple weeks ago...most of the week the sunrise forecast was not favorable, and I kinda enjoyed sleeping in for a change...but I did get up on the last day, and went to Eastpoint, FL, which is east of Apalachicola. I had good intel from a friend on where to find come docked clam boats, and I wanted to shoot there...this is one of the other frames from the morning. Another case of detuning the saturation and especially the contrast...but its one frame, the boats were not moving much, but anything more than this shutter speed and they were not sharp by just a little...and that was too much.

Great stuff here!

I should show the crop of that last one where you can see dirt on Luna's eye... the 90mm is just absurdly sharp and the 24mp sensor in the A7III captures just so much detail ive been consistently impressed

For all the mark iii owners, do your liveview works when you use on-camera speedlight or trigger?

One guy in FB group swears it works and he showed a wuick video. He had the x1t trigger on-camera and turned on, i asked him to play with shutterspeed back and forth and it work.

I thought i might have missed something. I’ll try to reset my settings to see if it works.

Smartphone that can truly complement or replace our ILC cameras are coming. 9 Lenses with a bunch of computational magic. It will be interesting to see what this tech will look like in 5 years.

I'd be open to paying a bit of a premium for a phone like this. The one reservation I have is that phones are never anything I keep for more than a couple of years so I'm not sure I'd spend too much on something I'd ditch in 2 years. Then again, I don't keep cameras for too long either:

Vinz, do you mean does live view change with setting effect on whilst using the X1-t trigger?
