Sorry all for the dumb question. Honestly I have tried to find the solution before posting but I still don't know what to do.

Recently our Netgear modem took a dump on us, and we replaced it. Our password/network has changed and now my wireless Pro-100 won't connect to the new network. Problem is, I don't know how to go ahead and connect it myself. I read something about pressing the blue wifi button on the printer for a couple seconds until it started blinking, but I have no clue what to do from there. Should I carry the printer over to my PC and connect it via USB?

Is your printer close enough to the modem to hard wire the printer to the modem? That is another option with most printers.

My canon printer connects directly to my computer so I have never used it through a router, but I have three laser printers and only one of them connects though the wifi. the other two are hard wired to the router.

Connect your computer to the printer via USB and use the Canon software (easiest to download from Canon, but should have come with printer) to configure the wireless settings. Then you can disconnect the usb.

Wouldn't it be simpler just to make the new wifi router broadcast the original SSID and password? then you wouldn't have to fiddle with any of the client devices...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
